Workshops are offered through the Autism Support Center. Local school systems can request any of the following workshops and/or workshops can be tailored to fit the individual needs of the district.

  • Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders and Strategies for Intervention
  • Asperger Syndrome
  • Teaching Communication Skills to Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Behavior Supports for the Student with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Teaching Social and Emotional Skills to Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders and Implications for Adolescents in Transition from School to Adult Life

Registration has ended for this training. This training starts at 8 AM and ends at 12 PM. The training will be held in the Student Union Ballroom at Rhode Island College. There is a $25.00 registration fee for this ASD Workshop.

You can also bring the $25 registration fee check with you the day of the event.
