Professional Development Requests
The IEP Network is available to provide districts, agencies and groups with
workshops tailored to meet the needs of the target audience. The following
professional development workshops are currently offered. To request an IEP

IEP Network Community of Practice Meeting

IEP Form and Process:
This workshop is designed to familiarize participants with the IEP form and the
process to develop an IEP. Participants go through the IEP document page by page,
reviewing key components and IEP Team members' responsibilities.

IEP Fact or Fiction:
A Professional Development Opportunity for Related Service Providers - This workshop
is designed to familiarize related service providers (adaptive physical education
teachers, counselors, occupational therapists, physical therapists, school nurses,
school psychologists, and speech and language therapists) with the IEP form and their
responsibilities in the development of the IEP.

Progress Reporting: Show Me the Data:
This workshop is designed to familiarize participants with:
a) IDEA's requirement to report on the students progress on his/her IEP goals;
b) ways to gather data on the student's progress; and
c) methods to use to report this data to families.

Other: Other workshop topics related to the IEP can be
customized to meet the needs of the participants.
