Relationship between these processes and the Individual Education Plan (IEP):
FBAs or BIPs are reflected in separate documents such as evaluation summaries that parallel other evaluation reports or intervention plans that parallel a teacher’s plan book or a providers’ clinical plan. Although these documents are not intended to be attached to the IEP, elements of them are embedded within the IEP. The IEP reflects the elements of FBA, PBS or BIPs within such sections as Strengths and Needs, Present Levels of Performance, Annual Goals, Short Term Objectives, Supplementary Aids and Services, Modifications and Accommodations, Support to School Personnel, and Special Education and Related Services.
