Denise Achin, M.Ed. — Medicaid Coordinator
Ms. Achin holds an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State College and a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her current assignments are providing training and technical assistance to school staff, parents, and RIDE staff on Medicaid and Medicaid related issues. She also works with the Department of Human Services on policy issues and represents the Department of Education on the CEDARR Interdepartmental Team at the Department of Human Services. Eileen T. Botelho, M.P.A. — Grants & Fiscal Management
Eileen holds an M.P.A. from University of RI and a B.S. from Rhode Island College. Eileen develops, coordinates and implements project initiatives including information dissemination, publications and professional development activities. She advises the RITAP project management team on resource projection, analysis and allocation and manages project finances. Her current assignments include fiscal management of the Project, Statewide Leadership Conference Planning, coordination of website and project publications and management of the RITAP Office at RI College. Sue Constable, M.A. — Autism Support Center
Ms. Constable holds an M.A. in Counseling from Framingham State College and a B.A. from Wheelock College. Sue taught young children with Autism Spectrum Disorders for 10 years at ACCEPT Collaborative in Framingham, MA. As the Director of the Center, Sue is working to create a stronger state infrastructure to support individuals with ASD in Rhode Island. This includes providing training and job-embedded support to staff in schools, developing a state wide ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders) network, creating and supporting demonstration classrooms and looking closer at the incidence numbers of students with ASD within specific school districts. Barrie Grossi, M.Ed. — Personnel Development
Ms. Grossi holds an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Education from Rhode Island College and a BA in Speech and Language Science from the University of Rhode Island. Her current assignment is in personnel development, a systems and policy approach to ensuring RI maintains a sufficient supply of highly qualified personnel with the knowledge, skills and dispositions necessary to support students with disabilities to achieve to high standards. Alexis Moniz — Assistant to the Project Management Team
Alexis holds a B.A. in Politics from Saint Anselm College. Her current assignments include office management and administrative support to the RITAP Project Management Team. Alexis also provides support and coordinates training activities, develops publications, administers the lending library and assists with the fiscal management of the Project. Elizabeth Landry —Application Developer/Data Specialist
